Stoneham Lane Eastleigh Hampshire SO50 9HT Phone numbers Office 02380 613068 Bar 02380 612400 Shop 02380 629160 Driving Directions from Junction 5 of the M27. This is the main junction for Southamton Airport. Come off the Motorway, and follow the signs for Southampton. You will go down a dual carriageway for about 3/4 of a mile, until you come to a set of traffic lights. Move into the right hand filter lane, and turn right. After 400 yards uphill, you will come to another set of lights, turn right again, and follow this winding road for about a mile, until you pass back under the Motorway. Almost immediately turn left, signposted Trojans, and the club house is half a mile up a long drive way. Train Get off at Southampton Airport Parkway, and go to the taxi rank, and say Trojans please, you could walk, and on Friday afternoon it would be wise to do so. So, if walking from the railway station, come out of the railway station on the main side, and turn right towards Eastleigh, cross the road, and walk past the University of Southamptons playing fields. Soon after these turn left, into the riverside country park and walk through here for half a mile, ignoring the little steam trains, which may be cute, but won't advance your journey towards the club, (but you can buy a decent fried breakfast). When you come to the end of this country lane, with the Concorde Club on your right, cross this main road at the pedestrian crossing, and go down Stoneham lane, a narrow death trap for pedestrians, after 400 yards of Stoneham lane, turn right at the signpost into Trojans. By Plane Get off at Southampton International Airport, and get a taxi to Trojans, you could walk, or even walk to the taxi rank at the railway station which saves you about a pound, but frankly if you flew in, walking isn't for you. |
