Volunteer of the Month

Trojans is run by the Members for the Members. Each month the general committee meeting discusses individuals who have put in an extra effort in support of the overall club, and chooses a volunteer of the month

The individuals listed below have been identified as winners in individual months, and a red or white token of thanks / appreciation from the club should eventually find its way to them. If it hasnt yet, they should contact the Chairman and tell him to get a move on as they're thirsty!

The amount of effort that individuals put into the whole club is phenomenal, and the efforts of the following have been highlighted by the general committee.

Marek Wispiankski

Was instrumental in demolition and removal of the old groudnsmans shed and then construction of extra car parking

Chris Mitchell

Provided substantial skilled advice, support and guidance through some recent rent reviews which the club has undertaken

Sean Green

Installed substantial new air conditioning units and system on the squash courts.

Mark Amey

Spent a considerable amount of time up a cheery picker in terrible weather sorting out both Rugby and hockey floodlights

Jon Brophy

Repainted and fixed seating and benches in squash courts

Paul Ladkin

Working with the groundsman massively improved the run up to the new cricket nets

Keith Fisher

Provided ( and continues to provide) substantial support to the office, to improve membership, cash flow, and income and expenditure
