Trojans Cricket Club has a large Junior Cricket section which play competitive cricket games in the Winchester and District competition. The section has teams in Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups. We have fantastic facilities, at Trojans wonderful ground with 3 lanes of nets, and a large range of equipment including our own bowling machine.

Winter nets Each age group will be running training sessions over the winter months in preparation for next season. Please contact the relevant age group co-ordinator listed above for more details. Summer Cricket During the summer season our junior section trains at the Trojans grounds on the following nights: Under 9's - Fridays: 5.30 - 6.45pm Under 11's - Fridays: 6.30 - 8pm Under 13's - Monday: 6.30 - 8pm Under 15's - Wednesday: 6.30 - 8pm Training will start on the week begining 16th April 2012 and continue until the end of the week begin 16th July 2012. If you are interested, the cost of membership is £35 for the cricket section and £50 for the Trojans club (10% reduction for siblings). We welcome new members but it is important to contact the co-ordinator responsible for your child's age group first as we do not always have places available straight away. They will be able to advise you as to whether there is a space. We are only able to accept children who are current school year 2 and above. Clothing and Equipment It would be great this year for our teams to look as smart as possible during matches. Trojans junior club Caps and Shirts are available from Holt and Haskell by visiting or phoning the store in Shirley - see their website for details. We hope that soon online ordering will be possible. All under 18's must wear full protective clothing to bat or keep wicket whenever a hard ball is used and the club do have a limited amouth of equipment to loan. We would be grateful of any donations of outgrown equipment to expand our stock, but Holt and Haskell also carry a good range of equipment to buy should you wish to purchase it new. Matches Matches for age groups up to Under 13's will be played on Sunday monrnings. The programme of matches will be available on the Winchester Warriers website nearer the time. Junior Section Summer BBQ This will be held on Sunday July 1st over lunch time. There will be a seniour club match to enjoy and a fun get together for all the age groups. Presentation Evening This will be on Friday 21st Sept at Trojans club. Summer Camp We will be holding a 4 day summer Cricket camp during the summer holiday from Monday13th Aug to Thurs 16th Aug.
