Trojans Club Limited - Safeguarding Statement

At Trojans Club we want all our young people to enjoy playing sport in a safe environment and we are committed to providing a welcoming, secure and friendly setting for all to enjoy. Trojans Club Limited accepts the responsibility to promote the welfare of young people and protect them from harm, in collaboration with the members of our sections, coaches, officials, spectators and importantly parents and families. The general principles of our safeguarding policy are that the safety and welfare of all young people is paramount and that all young people, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion, belief, gender reassignment or sexual orientation have a right to be protected from harm. Each section has a Child Welfare Officer who supports and promotes good safeguarding practice and is the point of contact for all members, parents, coaches, managers and players, please see the relevant section websites for details. Each section is responsible for the completion of all DBS checks for those who work with our young people, either in a paid or voluntary capacity. It is important to highlight that safeguarding is everyone at the club's responsibility and all concerns must be reported immediately.
